This listing is for a lovely Arthur Wood Cobalt Blue Aladdin Tea Pot with Gold Metalic Flowers. In good condition with no cracks or hairlines. There are some repairs along the bottom ring edge, that were done by the previous owner. One repair is noticible on the gold ring on the bottom edge, that was touched up with gold metallic paint. There is some weart o the gold paint on the top handle. The teapot measures 6.0" tall with the lid; 8.75" wide from the tip of the spout to the tip of the handle it has a 2.5" diameter opening and a 3.0" by 2.5" oval base.

The origins of the Wood family in Stoke-on-Trent goes back over 250 years to the famous Master Potters, Ralph and Enoch Wood who were contemporaries of Josiah Wedgwood and whose ware is highly-prized and much sought after to this day.
