Here is a framed, signed copy of The Cure’s CD compilation Galore.
Signed on October 27, 1997 at the Virgin Megastore in Hollywood California. I was one of the 3000+ people who lined up that day for an in-person signing. If you read old news reports, you’ll know that of those 3000, only a few made it in to the signing. The crowd got rowdy, police showed up, and most people were sent home. I wasn’t, and after waiting for a few more hours, The Cure’s management/assistants came out with a stack of CDs that were signed, said that the band was sorry we couldn’t make it in, and that as a gesture we could have these. This CD is one of them.
This is signed by Robert Smith, Simon Gallup, Roger O’Donnell, and Perry Bamonte. While there is no COA, you can easily reference these signatures and see that they are authentic. There’s also some smearing and overlap, noticeable on the Robert, Simon, and Perry signatures.
