These scissor ice tongs are very cool and a true conversations piece. The silver plate articulated hinged tongs are made by the Eales 1779 company in Italy, quality craftsmanship. The age of these tongs is said to be between 1900-1940
When fully extended, they measure about 7.5 inches - and can be used for ice, sugar cubes or sandwiches/nibblies.
This is a vintage pre-loved item and will show some wear, but in very good condition
