Padilla, an acclaimed studio potter from Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, helped popularize modern Mexican functional ceramics from the late 1970s onward, exporting vividly glazed tablewares that balanced folk tradition with contemporary form. This set dates c. 1990s, made in Jalisco, Mexico. Each mug: approx. 4" tall x 4.5" L x 3" W; comfortable handles and thick walls keep drinks warm.
