The brand recommends using it as "garment pefume" on clothing due to the inclusion of trace amounts of crude birch tar. The fragrance is leathery, musky, powdery, and floral. There is some minor wear on box and bottle.

"Cuir de Russie is an Garment Perfume (to be used on cloth only) from the 6th Collection of Areej le Doré created by Russian Adam. It is a hugely animalic, floriental leather, featuring unique, vintage crude birch tar and beaver tail oil. Cuir de Russie is for scenting clothing, not skin, due to the traces of crude birch tar used. It contains top notes of crude birch tar from 1915 - 1920, middle notes of antique violet attar from 1920, blue lotus accord, rose, and jasmine absolute, and base notes of beaver tail oil, natural wild Siberian deer musk, and amber accord."
